    is a renowned San Francisco attorney whose career has been surrounded by good opportunities, but also of challenges, failures, and learning. After graduating from John F. Kennedy University where he earned his Juris Doctor, he began his practice as a Public Defender in Solano County and later in Marin County.

    Both experiences were very helpful to him. However, his goal was to continue growing and in 2012 he decided to start an independent practice. Leaving his comfort zone and starting in a world that he knew, but didn’t know he could find, can be intimidating to many.

    However, Haitham Amin knew it would not be easy and kept his mind focused on “If I can”. This aspect is the determining factor. His mentality was always focused on going beyond his limits even when it might seem risky.

    Complementing his determination, Haitham Amin realized that starting an independent practice required an effort to gain greater outreach to potential clients. In this regard, he began to analyze the actions needed to achieve this step. And that’s where he began building his personal brand. Not an easy task, but a rewarding one.

    Can a lawyer build a brand? How does it benefit him? As in any other profession, building a brand will bring greater value, credibility, reach, and opportunity for people to make themselves known. Not just professionally, but personally. This is very important nowadays since anyone considers these aspects before purchasing a product or service.

    It was there where Haitham Amin based his process, in wanting to show the essence of his work and of him as a person. He considered that, by making his way through the different digital platforms with his brand, it provides him with greater reach.

    “The old way of hiring professionals seems to be a thing of the past. Now, since everyone, his mom and grandmother (literally) are on social media, it’s more important than ever to brand yourself, constantly.”

    Haitham Amin points out that his greatest goal is to be recognized as a lawyer who can achieve results. To do this, he believes it is necessary to show his victories, which is the backbone of his work. However, he stresses that this process leads to different actions, which he shares:

    Constant work

    Haitham Amin claims that building the brand is a regular job. It is not an aspect in which you can afford to take days or months to achieve success. “The brand is like a plant, it needs dedication, nutrition, and time to deliver results.” That is why he considers it essential to be constant, to keep generating value content continuously, and to maintain interaction with people who are interested in it.

    Never underestimate yourself

    In the opinion of this legal specialist, underestimating your work or your value is a mistake that not only affects your potential but also your self-esteem. Part of positioning yourself strategically is to reflect your value, not only in money but also in the quality of the work and services that represent you.

    Customers who see your essence will come to you because they know about your work and value the knowledge and quality of your product or service. But to do this, you must show it, mainly, discover it yourself, so you can transmit it to others. “You will attract the right customers by positioning yourself strategically. If you are the cheapest, you will always be the cheapest”.

    Think about innovating and evolving

    Haitham Amin points out that changes are necessary, as long as they are to evolve and innovate within your business. Adapting to new technologies and including them as a valuable tool for the growth of a company will ensure that this is maintained over time. Otherwise, it could die slowly.

    New plans for new results

    “Don’t be crazy. Crazy is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.” According to Haitham Amin, sometimes companies are so dedicated to fulfilling their initial plans that they fail to see the opportunities around them, and the profit they can make from them.

    He emphasizes that part of innovating and building the right brand is learning how changes can help the business landscape and how it can be adjusted to grow our business or brand.

    Today, these aspects have contributed significantly to the growth of Haitham Amin’s brand. Now, in addition to being a lawyer in different areas and an entrepreneur, he works as a brand consultant, providing different advice to people through his social media.
