Glow launches as a cybersecurity unicorn on day one with $180 million and a bet that CrowdStrike is already obsolete
Glow, a Palo Alto endpoint-security startup, emerged from stealth on July 22, 2026 with $180 million in Series A funding at a $1.2 billion valuation. Backed by Sequoia, Cyberstarts, and Index Ventures among others, the company is betting that AI-driven threats have made legacy tools like CrowdStrike structurally obsolete. It already has paying customers in healthcare, retail, and financial services.
