Genesis AI is in talks to raise approximately $500 million just twelve months after its record $105 million seed, signaling venture capital conviction that the real prize in humanoid robots is the software layer. The Khosla- and Eclipse-backed startup, which unveiled its GENE-26.5 foundation model in May 2026 and launched its own robot Eno in June, is positioning itself as the universal AI brain for any robot hardware.
