CyberSek Is India's Security Awareness Platform Built by People Who Actually Break Into Systems

A team of offensive security researchers built a combined security awareness training and VAPT platform for Indian businesses - because most security content is made by content creators, not penetration testers.

"Built by real penetration testers - not just content creators."

That distinction is the foundation of CyberSek. Most security awareness training is produced by people who understand compliance frameworks but have never actually attempted to breach a system. CyberSek was built by offensive security researchers - people whose work involves finding vulnerabilities before attackers do - and the difference shows in how the platform approaches the problem.

CyberSek is India's first platform that combines security awareness training with VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) under one roof. The training side covers more than 22 courses across the major compliance frameworks Indian and global enterprises deal with: ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and India's own DPDPA. The VAPT side brings the hands-on testing expertise of the team directly to clients rather than outsourcing it.

Targeting the Gap in the Indian Market

The platform is focused on Indian SMEs and enterprises - a market where security awareness has historically been underdeveloped relative to the regulatory environment now demanding it. With India's DPDPA putting new compliance pressure on businesses of all sizes, the timing for a platform that handles both the training and the testing is deliberate.

Founder Sourav Kumar and the team launched on Product Hunt to build early visibility in the startup community. The free 7-day trial at cybersek.in is designed to let security and compliance teams evaluate the platform before committing.

CyberSek is available now at cybersek.in.
