Reid Hoffman and Marc Pincus are co-founding Prentis, a new AI research lab focused on computer-use models, which TechCrunch reports is in talks to raise $100 million. The lab, built alongside entrepreneur Ritankar Das, is targeting AI that can perceive screens and operate software directly, not another foundational model racing OpenAI on benchmarks.
