SkyPilot has raised $20 million in seed funding to let AI teams run training and inference jobs across AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and smaller GPU providers through a single interface. The round was led by Lux Capital and backed by the CEOs of Databricks, Hugging Face, Vercel and Replit, along with Google chief scientist Jeff Dean. It positions SkyPilot as neutral infrastructure in an AI compute market defined by GPU scarcity and vendor lock-in.
