Antares, founded in 2023, has raised $470 million in a Series C co-led by Paradigm and Caffeinated Capital, weeks after its Mark-0 microreactor became the first privately developed advanced reactor to achieve criticality under the DOE Reactor Pilot Program. The company is targeting deployment of its R1 microreactor at U.S. military installations by 2028, the deadline set by Executive Order 14299.
