Researchers at the National University of Singapore have published a prototype battery-free skin patch in Nature Electronics that tracks blood pressure continuously by measuring the travel time of blood from heart to wrist. The device draws power wirelessly from a smartphone and eliminates the need for cuffs or charging, targeting a gap in how cardiovascular conditions are monitored across a full day and night.
